Congratulations to Eastwood players Matt Gonzalez & JL Bacon on their selection in the Australian Mens 7s side for the World Sevens Series tournaments coming up in Dubai & Cape Town.
It caps off an outstanding 2022 season for JL in which he starred for Colts 1 winning the Player's Player award despite breaking his jaw in Round 2.
Following his Colts season JL was selected in the Australia A Sevens side for the Oceania Challenge a few weeks ago. He now finds himself on the cusp of debuting for his country this coming weekend in Dubai.
